11-Year-Old, Morgan Fisher, Fundraises for Partner School!
February 22, 2011
Congratulations to 11-year-old Morgan Fisher who since the new year has raised over $3700 for Annunciation Community School! With support from her parents, her sister Madison, and her grandfather, Davis Fisher – an old friend and associate of Haiti Partners co-founder, John Engle – Morgan spearheaded a campaign to help the school. Morgan solicited donations from friends and family, sold 80 hand-made Valentine’s Day greeting cards and 40 teddy bears.
When asked why she wants to help people, without hesitation Morgan said, “It feels good to make other people feel good, and it inspires other people to DO good.”
On behalf of Haiti Partners and Annonciation Community School, THANK YOU Morgan!
